Since nearly day one of purchasing this laptop, it has been a HUGE pain in my patooshkie. Were it not a gift, and if Best Buy weren’t an even bigger pain in my patooshkie, I would have gotten a new one when I could afford it. First, the dvdr drive wouldn’t read or write all the time. But then I spilled water on my lappy and Best Buy claimed that the water killed the dvd drive. Read the rest of this entry »

I got a phone call today from someone in marketing at the Orem Walmart. (Who knew the Orem Walmart in their own marketing department? I sure didn’t.) The jist of the call was that I shouldn’t have been treated like that, and I should have gotten a refund since there were no signs about the exchange-only policy. Oh yeah. And they’re cutting me a check for the $14 I spent on the silly airbed. So Walmart gets some points back for making things right. Read the rest of this entry »

american idol needs to let america vote people off the american idol island. i don’t mean that by not voting for someone they get kicked off — i want the option to give somebody a negative vote. i don’t care about who wins, but if i had the option of voting people off, i would totally get into it.
