after three weeks of not going to the gym, i finally made it back last night. i even went back to campus & the gym after i’d been home for an hour or two. i’m amazing like that. high fives and pats on the back are appreciated.

i thought i’d take it easy at first, since it had been so long since my last workout. about ten minutes into my ellipticizing i realized that it was way too easy, so i did that interval thingy where you run as fast as you can for a minute and then let your heart rate recover some. rinse and repeat. but still, that wasn’t that hard. i think i’ll have to add some resistance next time. and that’s a good thing, because that means i’ve made some good progress.

in case you haven’t heard (i’ve been broadcasting everywhere today), i fit into size 20 jeans! they’re still a bit too tight to wear in public, but i’m confident that they’ll be perfect in a few weeks. i am so ecstatic about it–i haven’t fit into size 20 jeans in about 5 years. i was wearing 24’s in august/september, so dropping two sizes is so exciting.
